Take note of the changing seasons. As everything is in the last harvest before coldness of winter sets in. Trees begin to drop their leaves and plants begin to turn to the underground warmth. Watch, take note. Trees let go of the leaves that no longer serve them and will only damage them when snowfalls. Let go of what no longer serves you, let go of heavy feelings that will only slow you down when cold sets in.

Winter is an opportunity to pause. Turn inward and connect deeply to the divine within. Admire the stillness and watch as the season encourages us to come inside. Inside our homes and inside our own self. Feeling the present moment, gently reflecting on the past and dreaming of future endeavors. Allow space to draw into your center, to listen and hear guidance. To accept everything just the way it is. To simply be. Connecting to ones self helps us to better connect with the world around us. “If the plant does not become dormant in the winter weather. It can not be reborn in the spring.”
